A treasure of jewels for our Wardrobe department!
Look at this shimmering bounty! Parvin Mirhady, our Head of Costumes, received these gorgeous jewels from a generous colleague in the film industry: Third Act Productions Inc.
Many of these are Swarovski crystals and capture the light in a stunning way. Parvin and her team will use them to create costumes for the VO stage, here in the Wardrobe department at the Michael and Inna O'Brian Centre for Vancouver Opera. Along with the crystals, Parvin also received several roll ends of silk chiffon and other fabrics.
